Hello and Welcome,

I want to welcome ALL comments about this show.  As with any production that is opening itself up for comments, there will be positive and negative feedback.  Both opinions are welcome.

Villains started out as a 15 minute internet experimental.  However, this project grew some leggs of its own and grew quickly to become the 4 episode show that it is.  One thing that should be noted about Villains is this is a concept piece designed to show a new way to present an action/fantasy show.  I can only confess in truthfullness that there are "flaws" with this show.  However, I cannot help but feel that there are far more "strengths" than "flaws".  The level of dedication from crew and cast has done nothing more than amaze me.  Whether you agree that the show is a success or a flop, is a very individual preference.

As a film maker, I think it's important to realize that you are not going to make everyone happy.  However, the ties and relationships that you make with a project will show through it.  An academy award nominee who saw the show and met the cast had this to say, "It appears that all the cast and crew enjoy one anothers company and get along.  Enjoy that.  You wont always have that."  That is success to me.  To have such a large ensemble cast that were as dedicated to this project is a joy.  Success is not always measured in dollars and cents.  Sucess is also measured in the amount of excitement and joy that you get from working on something.

So, as you watch the show, make the judgments that you want, either good or bad.  Realize though, the hard work and teamwork that this cast and crew has exhibited on this project is nothing short of a miracle for an unknown and tiny production company like Gypsy Films.  We hope that you share in that miracle with us.  We hope that you find yourself being entertained, for even a moment.  If you are not, we have not failed, but rather, are on our own individual paths of learning and discovery to make our own art better.  Stephen Spielberg says that you make films for yourself and the audience second as not everyone is going to appreciate it.  If you try to chace approval, you will never dare to be different.  I am proud of every person on this show that dared to be different.  Courage to take a chance is a rare gift.  It is often easier to sit back and wait for something new to be accepted than ride out trying to carve new ground.  I applaud the crew and cast of Villains for daring to be different!
